Synopsis

love this book. This and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before are both so beautifully wonderful I don’t think I’ll ever get over them.

Lara Jean is such a special main character. I love her family, her personality, her culture, everything about her life. I thought that this duology would just be a typical high school romance series. But no, these books have a lot more to them then just romance. Continue reading

Synopsis

This is the first book I’ve read by Jodi Picoult, and given that it was written with her daughter, I have a feeling it’s quite different than all of her other novels.

I actually quite enjoyed this story. Since the synopsis includes a fairy tale, it may seem like this book is too young for teens. But I actually really liked the world that was created in Between the Lines. I’ve never read a story with the main character falling in love with a fictional fairy tale character, and I think that’s just such an intriguing premise. Continue reading

Synopsis

I can’t believe my favorite book series is over.

This book was a very emotional journey. I don’t even know where to begin. I love love love the Liars. Vicious was amazing. Sara Shepard pushed the limits at some parts, and I must say I love her for doing so. She had my heart pounding, tears forming in my eyes. I don’t know how she was able to do it after fifteen books, but she still shocked me.

I absolutely enjoyed this book! I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve read a book where I genuinely loved so many of the characters.

I just really liked the storyline, how Lara Jean’s love letters get sent without her knowing. I mean, it sounds like such a nightmare! I loved reading the way Lara Jean handled the whole situation. Continue reading

Synopsis

This was a pretty good book, but out of the three Sarah Dessen books I’ve read so far I can’t say it’s my favorite. What I really liked about this book though is the whole “finding yourself” storyline. I liked Colie as a main character for the most part, and I did also really like Isabel.
