Spoiler Review here

I can’t believe my favorite book series is over.

This book was a very emotional journey. I don’t even know where to begin. I love love love the Liars. Vicious was amazing. Sara Shepard pushed the limits at some parts, and I must say I love her for doing so. She had my heart pounding, tears forming in my eyes. I don’t know how she was able to do it after fifteen books, but she still shocked me.

Never Have I Ever by Sara Shepard Review

(Book 2 in The Lying Game series)
Recommended for: lovers of mystery and murder, and fans of Pretty Little Liars
Read from December 17 to 29, 2014

Spoiler Review here

I am always so captivated by Sara Shepard’s writing. I forgot how much I love this series! I read The Lying Game back in March of 2013, so it was a little rough for me in the beginning of this book because I had forgotten most of the first book’s events. But I’m so glad I chose to continue the series because I just really love Sutton and Emma’s story! It’s so fun to follow Emma in her investigation. (I would even go as far to say I’m starting to like this series more than Pretty Little Liars, but those books will always hold a special place in my heart.)

NEW Sara Shepard Series!

So in my review for Toxic I mentioned discovering an advertisement for a brand new Sara Shepard series. It’s called The Perfectionists and takes place in Washington, following five teenage girls.

Publication Date: October 7th, 2014

Synopsis: In Beacon Heights, Washington, five girls—Ava, Caitlin, Mackenzie, Julie, and Parker—know that you don’t have to be good to be perfect. At first the girls think they have nothing in common, until they realize that they all hate Nolan Hotchkiss, who’s done terrible things to each of them. They come up with the perfect way to kill him—a hypothetical murder, of course. It’s just a joke…until Nolan turns up dead, in exactly the way they planned. Only, they didn’t do it. And unless they find the real killer, their perfect lives will come crashing down around them. (from GoodReads)

My Thoughts: Considering this novel is filed under the genres “mystery”, “drama”, and “suspense”, it sounds somewhat to me like Shepard’s most popular series, Pretty Little Liars. Will I read it? Of course. The synopsis sounds intriguing. How was Nolan killed in exactly the way they joked about? I heard this is supposed to be a series of only two books, but considering how Pretty Little Liars turned out, I have a feeling it may turn in to much more.

Spoiler Review here

I cannot believe there is only one more book of this series–for real this time!
So, much like all of the other Pretty Little Liars novels, Toxic is full of mysterious deaths and frustrating accusations. I knew this novel had to be an interesting one, considering where Deadly left off. There were a lot of events that occurred in this particular installment that had not happened in the previous books, that I can’t say I’m very glad had happened. Okay, how does everyone feel about this Agent Fuji lady? Because…yeah I’m not so sure about her.
This novel also included some different love interests for the girls, which is always cool to see.Alright well at the end of the day, I do not care how many novels Sara Shepard chooses to write about the Liars, I will read them all. It’s going to be truly sad to read the last novel in December.
But yay for Toxic being worthy of 4 stars (and no the 4 stars did not have anything to do with the fact that I was super excited about my NAME being in the book as a super minor character! AH still psyched about that! SO yeah go read Toxic!) (:

**One last thing, after I finished the book I saw an advertisement in the back, for, you guessed it, another Sara Shepard series. Yep, it’s real. It’s called The Perfectionists and sounds absolutely nothing like Pretty Little Liars….it’s okay Sara Shepard, I still love you.**

Wow this book was definitely different from all the others. It got much better about half way through the book. I think Sara Shepard did a great job with this one, as this particular installment dealt with some pretty serious issues,

I definitely enjoyed reading this one especially starting at about page 250.

I just don’t get how Sara Shepard continues to intrigue me after 14 books! Y’all can complain all you want about the never-ending additions but I think it will honestly be hard for me without this series.
Loved it.

Pretty Little Secrets by Sara Shepard Review

Image**This is a Pretty Little Liars collection novel**

Recommended for: anyone who really enjoys the PLL series and wants to read more about the characters

Read from September 29, 2012 to December 31, 2013

Not going to lie: This was a good book but if you’re not entirely obsessed with the Pretty Little Liars series and you think you need to read it in order to read the rest, don’t bother. This book was somewhat of a struggle for me as it was hard to be intrigued. Plus I read it after reading the 13th novel in the series, which makes it hard to read since it takes place between the 4th and 5th books. Anyway, a fun read but not entirely necessary. Probably a book to read if you’re looking for something with not a lot of plot.

Ali’s Pretty Little Lies by Sara Shepard Review

**This is the prequel to the Pretty Little Liars series**

Recommended for: Those who wish to read more about Ali’s background

Read from May 01 to 25, 2013

This is one of my favorites of the PLL series because it’s so different. I absolutely loved exploring Ali’s world before the series really started. Note: I don’t think you should read this before reading at least the first 8 books of the series. That’s just my opinion, mainly because it may potentially spoil some things for you.
All in all, I thought it was truly interesting to read about Ali’s background and really be invested in her story as in the PLL books she’s only brought up as a character who is already gone before the series starts. I’m really glad Sara Shepard chose to write this novel.
