Spoiler Review here

So this was not my favorite of The Mortal Instruments series, but it was pretty fun to read.

I liked how this book delved more into Simon’s world, so we could learn more about what it is like for him as far as his mother, and well, his vampire “thirsts”.

I must say I wasn’t much of a fan of Jace’s storyline in this novel. I get it, he’s upset with himself because of Valentine, considering how City of Glass ended. But oh my goodness, I was getting a little tired of it, to be honest.

I love the minor storyline of Luke and Jocelyn, however. I’m so happy they are finally getting married! The little parts of the plot designated to talking about their engagement always made me smile.

Okay, Camille made me so annoyed in this book…ugh. Alec and Magnus were super cute in this novel, as usual.

I think I’ve covered just about each of the characters; well I guess I didn’t talk about Clary. Well, let’s see, not much has changed for her. I don’t really know what to say about her…

What did you think of City of Fallen Angels?

Haha, out of all the books in the series I disliked this one the most partly because the plot was so slow moving. But seriously, things pick up in books 5 & 6.
I just finished City of Heavenly Fire and I can barely hold all the feels inside XD
