Synopsis

4.5 Stars

*This review is not very well written due to my original being deleted…I apologize.*

Wow.

This was so unlike anything I’ve ever read.

We Were Liars is wonderfully unforgettable. And listen to the reviewers when they say it’s better to go into this novel not really knowing much about it. Therefore, I don’t think there’s much I can say without saying too much.

E. Lockhart has a wonderful way with words. Her descriptions are so well written, you can feel and see everything she writes.

We Were Liars is a novel about a family who lives on a private island in the summers. The map and family tree in the beginning of the book were enough to intrigue me; who doesn’t love maps in books?!

I really don’t know what else to say, except that if you are even slightly intrigued by the vague description of this book, READ it!!

**Spoiler review above! I can’t really write much about We Were Liars without writing spoilers so this review isn’t very long, sorry.**

What did you think of We Were Liars?
