Oh my goodness, I am very late on this post! It’s Wednesday night, not Monday, so whoops. But nonetheless I still wanted to post about this week.
Recently finished: The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken — I’m still speechless. (Review here)
Currently Reading: 3 books!:
- Heist Society by Ally Carter. I’m reading this one aloud with my sisters so I can accomplish more than one novel at a time, and because I love to get my sisters to read more books!
- The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen. This one has been on my shelf for at least a year and I’ve been so into dystopian and fantasy novels that it was hard for me to think about going back to contemporary. But I’m reading it anyway because I absolutely adored Dessen’s novel Just Listen!
- These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. Because: 1) It’s one of the books on my challenge list, and 2) the cover is absolutely GORGEOUS! (I know, I know, don’t judge a book by it’s cover, but c’mon, we all do!) I’ve never really read a book that takes place in space before so I’m kind of worried I won’t enjoy it, but we’ll see!
Plan on reading next: Since I’m reading three books right now, I probably won’t be reading anything new next week; I don’t think I’ll be finished very soon.
